Frisk Radio Complete rollout to Teesside at Test Station - Primary station for development

Frisk Radio has successfully launched on the newly commissioned Middlesbrough & Redcar SS-DAB transmitter.

Teesside DJ welcomes listeners

Darlington-born DJ, Chris Bell, officially welcomed listeners across Middlesbrough, Stockton, and Redcar at 6pm on Friday 3rd November, with a "Retro Mini-Mix" - a nostalgic homage to the beloved club night that holds a special place in the hearts of many in the area.

Chris said:

"Having played in clubs across Teesside, it's great to finally be on-air in my own patch. I know people in this area are super passionate about their dance music, and I can't wait to be mixing up the tunes they know and love".

Local Advertising Opportunities for North East Businesses

The expansion onto the Middlesbrough and Redcar SS-DAB transmitter marks a significant milestone for Frisk Radio, who have a continuous commitment to bring their uplifting mix of beats and banter to an ever-growing audience.

With the combined coverage area of all four SS-DAB multiplexes, the station now boasts a potential audience of over 2 million listeners across the North East.

Frisk Radio are now gearing up to offer split-ads, allowing local businesses to precisely target listeners in their Tyneside or Teesside areas, or the entire Frisk network as a whole.
